How many shirts should I pack?

Most missionaries land somewhere between 5 and 8, depending on your laundry cycle and climate — weekly laundry in a mild climate means fewer, hot and humid with less reliable laundry access means more. Full breakdown in our guide: How Many Shirts Does a Missionary Actually Need?

Short sleeve or long sleeve — which do I need?

Check your call letter first — some missions specify one. As a rule: hot, humid or tropical missions lean short sleeve (THE ELDER); anywhere with a real winter wants more long sleeve (SUNDAY BEST). Most missionaries pack a mix.

How do I wash them?

Machine or by hand, cold water, hang to dry. No iron, no dryer, no special detergent. Hang it straight out of the wash and most of the crease drops out on its own overnight.

What if the size is wrong, or I need to exchange it?

Free exchanges within 60 days, as long as it hasn’t been worn out and about and the tags are still on. On 7-packs, we cover postage both ways. On singles and 3-packs, you send it to us and we post the replacement back at our cost. Not sure of your size before you order? See our Size Guide and send us your measurements.

What’s the guarantee?

The Mission Guarantee: wrong fit or feel, send it back within 60 days for an exchange, free both ways on 7-packs. Shirt fails in the field — split seam, popped button, torn fabric — send a photo and we’ll ship a replacement.

Do you ship to New Zealand or the Pacific?

Yes — to New Zealand, for a flat $10 AUD. We don’t currently offer standard shipping further into the Pacific, but message us directly and we’ll see what we can arrange — shipping cost for those destinations is worked out case by case.
