Size Guide
Find your size
Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your chest, just below your armpits. Keep it level all the way round — it should sit at the same height on your back as it does on your front. Snug, not tight, and breathe normally. Then find your number below.
| Size | Your chest | Your neck |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 93–98 cm | about 37 cm |
| S | 99–104 cm | about 39 cm |
| M | 105–110 cm | about 41 cm |
| L | 111–116 cm | about 43 cm |
| XL | 117–123 cm | about 45 cm |
Between sizes? That's a choice, not a problem.
There's no single correct size — it comes down to how you like a shirt to sit. Size down for a slimmer look, size up for more room. Both are right.
Tailored Fit
A modern cut with room to move, not baggy. The knitted jersey has four-way stretch, so it gives where a woven shirt won't. Ride a bike all morning, shift someone's couch after lunch, and still land a backflip on P-day. It moves how you move... and stays tucked in.
A real reference point. Our founder has a 106–107 cm chest and wears an M with room to spare. If you're around that, M is your size.
One thing worth checking: your collar
If you're wearing a tie every day, the collar matters more than anything else on this page. Chest and waist have stretch to give. A collar that won't do up doesn't get worn.
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar sits. If that lands you in a different size than your chest did, get in touch before you order — especially on a multi-pack.
The shirt itself
Every measurement below is the garment, laid flat and measured around. All in centimetres.
| Measurement | XS | S | M | L | XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Collar | 39 | 41 | 43 | 45 | 47 |
| Chest | 104 | 110 | 116 | 122 | 128 |
| Waist | 103 | 109 | 115 | 121 | 127 |
| Hem | 102 | 108 | 114 | 120 | 126 |
| Shoulder | 48 | 49 | 50 | 51 | 52 |
| Back length | 80 | 81 | 82 | 83 | 84 |
| Sleeve — THE ELDER (short) | 20.5 | 21.5 | 22.5 | 23 | 23.5 |
| Sleeve — SUNDAY BEST (long) | 60.5 | 61.5 | 62.5 | 63 | 63.5 |
THE ELDER and SUNDAY BEST are cut from the same body. Same size in both — the only difference is the sleeve.
Still not sure? Ask us.
Nobody should be buying seven shirts on a guess. Send us your measurements and we'll tell you which size to order.
And if we get it wrong, we fix it. You've got 60 days to send it back for a different size. On 7-packs we cover postage both ways. Try it on as much as you like — it just can't have been worn out and about, and the tags need to still be on.
