Our Story

It started with a shopping problem.

Before I left on my mission, it was a struggle to find GOOD white shirts. Short sleeve, because I was going somewhere hot. Iron-free, because who likes ironing? And a front pocket, because that's where the name badge goes.

In Australia, that combination barely exists. Plenty of shirts tick one box. Almost none tick all three.

So I did what a lot of us end up doing, and ordered from the US. What turned up was decent. It was also almost entirely polyester — and polyester doesn't breathe. It sticks to you. And after a couple of months of washing, white polyester slowly goes grey.

Then I spent two years in the Taiwan Kaohsiung Mission.

If you want to find out what a shirt is really made of, wear one through a Kaohsiung summer. The humidity settles the argument fairly quickly.

I came home with a very clear idea of what a missionary shirt should be, so my dad and I decided to build it.

What we made

We went through a few fabrics before we found the right one. Knitted jersey cotton with a bit of spandex — the same construction as a good t-shirt, cut and finished like a dress shirt.

It breathes, because it's cotton. It stretches four ways, so it stays tucked.

It'll come out of a suitcase creased, like anything does. But put it on, give it a few minutes of body heat, and the creases drop out on their own.

And it has the pocket.

Where we're at

We're new. We posted our first video in May 2026 and we've been shipping ever since, from the Gold Coast.
